Bout freakin time.

A long time ago a CD was released. It was from Green Day. It was said that it was a punk rock opera. Except not really, because it was not on a stage. Then we heard that it would be put on a stage. A long time ago. I can't remember when.

Any way they finally did it! And from the sound of it, it may be a good show! Yeay!
The musicians in Green Day aren't in the show but I hear they went to see it.

Only local critics have gotten a chance to review it. No national stuff yet.
A critic named Karen D'Souza rather liked it. Said it should head to broadway.

Another critic Jim Harrington, didn't seem to get it. Said it was big and loud. Not sure he has listened to much punk rock music. In a cynical, bitter tone he also seemed to assume it would.

Personally I still feel a deep need to start rocking out on my air guitar whenever I hear "Holiday" playing. Probably shouldn't do that in the audience though.
They may frown on that.
